SO COOL April Paper Pumpkin FB Live

 The So Cool April Paper Pumpkin Kit is a little taste of summer fun, with enough supplies to make 12 colorful, shaped cards with coordinating envelopes. Six card bases are popsicle shaped, the other six are semicircles: three watermelons and three rainbows. All of the cards are splashed with cheerful, vivid watercolor images. The kit also includes two full-size, matching sticker sheets, die-cut accents, fun embellishments, and more.

Ok so then I decided to show you a few alternatives using some of the fun stamps that were included in this kit.

First alternative

Card Recipe 

• Cardbase: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" score @ 4-1/4" Soft Seafoam
• Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper: stamped watermelon slices using Stazon ink
• INK: Old Olive, Terracotta Tile, and Bermuda Bay, and Stazon Jet Black
• Other Supplies:  Water Painter, Blending Brush, Champagne Mist, Snips 

Second Alternative

Card Recipe

• Cardbase: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" score @ 4-1/4" and 2-1/8" Blackberry Bliss
• Old olive: 2" x 5-3/8"
• Basic White: 2@  3-3/4" x 5"
• INK: Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, and Memento Tuxedo Black
• Other Supplies: Blending Brush, Snips

Third Alternative

Card Recipe

• Cardbase: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Old Olive
• Ombre Specialty Paper: 3-3/4" x 5"
• Kiwi Popsicle: cut 1" stripes
• Basic White: 3" x 4"
• INK: Bermuda Bay

FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON, MOTHER'S DAY Funday Monday FB LIVE # 37

 Check out this gorgeous Flowers For Every Season DSP (Retiring May 3, 2021), and see how to save your day with an easy greeting card layout!  It is the perfect paper for this quick card making.  When you have such beautiful papers all you need to do is add a greeting, maybe some ribbon and you have your cards done! Isn't this just so bright and cheery way to make a Mom feel so special. This DSP plays very well with our 2020-2022 In- Colors

Card Recipe

• Card Base:  8- 1/2″ x 5- 1/2″ OR 4- 1/4″ x 11″ 
• Basic White: 4- 1/4" x 5- 1/4" inside and scraps for sentiment
• Flower For Every Season Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4″ x 3- 1/4″, and 4" x 2" and 2- 1/2" x 6" for envelops
• Scraps of base color for sentiment layer
• Matching ribbon and embellishments

 I had to share one more layout with you using this dsp. I love adding the texture of an embossing folder, and this cute little daisy.

Card Recipe

•  Bumble Bee Card Base:  8- 1/2 " x 5- 1/2" and scored at 4- 1/4".
• Basic White: 2@ 4" x 5- 1/4" and 1/4"for sentiment and scrap for daisy punch
• Bumble Bee: 3-1/4" x 4-1/4"and scrap for daisy punch
• DSP: 3" x 4", and 2- 1/2" x 6" for envelop
• Dainty Diamonds 3D emboss folder, matching ribbon, and embellishments

Here is a Beautiful card using the new Color & Contour set along with the new In-Color Soft Succulent in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, this set will be available May 4th.  

Recipe: 

·         Highland Heather 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” score at 4 1/4”

·         Soft Succulent 5 1/4” x 4”, scrap

·         Basic White 5 1/4” x 4", 3 7/8” x 2 5/8”, Scrap

 

 

Recipe Instructions:

 

·         Fold card base on score line.
· Run Soft Succulent layer with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine, adhere to card base.
· Stamp flower outline image with Soft Succulent ink on Basic White scrap, stamp flowers solid image with Highland Heather ink.
· Die cut with scallop edge die, adhere to smaller Basic White layer with Liquid Glue.
· Apply Wink of Stella to flowers, adhere Basic White layers to with Dimensionals.
·  Stamp sentiment with Highland Heather ink on Soft Succulent scrap, crop with Oval punch.
·   Fold a piece of ribbon in half, secure in the back with Scotch tape.
·  Adhere to card front with Dimensionals.
·  Stamp flower on Basic White inside layer, adhere to card base with Liquid Glue.
·  Add a few Epoxy Essentials as shown.
·         ENJOY!!
