EXPRESSIONS IN INK FUNDAY MONDAY #45

 I'm sure you've looked at this set by now since its on the front cover of the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Artistically Inked Bundle or the Expressions in Ink Suite (this is the whole collection of products), the colors that coordinate with set are gorgeous and you will definitely want to get a few packs of the Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).

 

 These first few cards are very simple with very little stamping, the DSP and Ephemera do all the work for these beautiful cards. 

Card Recipe 

Card Base: Basic White Thick 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored @4-1/4"

Cardstock Layer: 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"

DSP Layer: 4" x 5-1/4", 1/2" x 5-1/2"

Other Supplies: Ephemera Pack, Polished Pink Ink Pad, Just Jade Ink Pad

This next card uses a few more layer, but still simple stamping. I use the Rectangle Stamp Punch to add the DSP to pull these colors all together. The tone on tone stamped background of the Magenta Madness just adds a hint of deeper color. I really like the Magenta Madness stamped onto the Pale Papaya for the sentiment, it really pops!

Card Recipe

Card Base: Basic White Thick 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" score @4-1/4"

Pale Papaya Layer: 5-1/2" x 4", 1/2" x 3"

Magenta Madness: 5" x 3-3/4"

Just Jade: 2-1/8" x 4-1/2"

DSP: 2-1/4" x 4-1/2" for punched images, 1/2" x 5-1/2" for inside, 2-1/2" x 6" envelop flap

Other Supplies: Magenta Madness Ink Pad, Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon

This last one is so simple and easy with using just one color. This would be a great card to make a few as a gift and just change the color and the sentiment. If you want to step it up, just die cut the big floral die or the big leaf die and add it. I have done the same stamping on the envelop flap to match the card.

Card Base: Flirty Flamingo 11" x 4-1/4" score @5-1/2"

Basic White Layer: 5-1/4" x 4", 5-1/8" x 3-7/8"

·     INK – Melon Mambo (147051), Daffodil Delight (147094), Granny Apple Green (147095), Highland Heather (147103), Versamark Ink (102283)

Cutting & Scoring

·       Basis White Thick Cardstock 11” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2”

·     Basic White Cardstock 5” x 3-3/4”

·     Melon Mamba Cardstock 5-1/8” x 3-7/8” 

Card Recipe

·         Emboss Basic White cardstock layer with Ornate Floral 3D folder.  Adhere to Melon Mamba cardstock layer, then adhere to card front.

·    Die cut largest rounded tag die one each from Melon Mamba DSP and Basic White cardstock.  Die cut the coordinating reinforcement circle in Melon Mamba cardstock and adhere to top of Basic White tag.

·    Stamp flower image using Daffodil Delight (top) and Highland Heather (bottom) on Basic White tag.  Stamp leaf image using Granny Apple Green.

·    On scrap of Basic White, stamp flower image using Melon Mamba ink along with Granny Apple Green leaves.  Die cut using the smallest Layering Circle die. Using a Stampin’ Dimensional adhere to center of tag as shown.

·    Layer the Basic White tag on top of the Melon Mamba DSP tag at an angle.  Using White Baker’s twine, create a loose knot at the top of the tags.  Adhere tags to front of the card.

·    Heat emboss sentiment on a scrap of Melon Mamba cardstock.  Die cut using the smallest Layering Circle die.

·    Create a large double loop bow using White Bakers twine.  Using a glue dot, position on card front as shown.  Place sentiment over bow using a Stampin’ Dimensional.

·    Add a Basic Pearl to the center of three Loose Flower Flourishes, using Mini Glue Dots.  With a Mini Glue Dot, adhere Flower Flourishes to card front as shown.

·    Spritz card front with Wink of Stella. Enjoy!
