Today's focus is on the one and only Dena ReKow's million dollar achievement bundle Pretty Perennials. This bundle has some beautiful watercolor flower with some two part stamps. I'm going to be showing you a few different levels of cardmaking. Beginner, Casual, and Avid.
So for the first card, Beginner.... its just simple stamping and a ribbon, but still so Beautiful. This card could be made in such a variety of colors. Think of making 4 or 5 and making these a gift for someone, what a special gift!
- Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored@ 4 1/4" (Coastal Cabana)
- First Layer- 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" (pretty peacock)
- Basic White- 5" x 3 3/4" and 5 1/4" x 4" (inside)
Card #2
The second card Casual... is a little step up with a die or punch for the sentiment. I'm using Versamark to stamp our image (this is a watermark ink which will give us the effect of out stamped image being wet), Versamark is great if you don't have a background paper to match you can make your own since it gives a tone on tone look. Then use a piece of ribbon as a visual attraction behind the sentiment.
Card #2 Recipe:
- Card Base- 4 1/4" x 11" scored@5 1/2" (Basic Gray)
- Layer- 4" x 5 1/4" (Purple Posy)
- Basic White- 4" x 5 1/4" (inside) and scrap for Sentiment
Card #3
The 3rd card is our Avid... I have die cut, stamped, and really dressed it up with some extra elements using some vellum and some peals to the center of the flowers to add some bling. Still easy to make, but really gives a WOW factor.
- Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored@ 4 1/4" (Misty Moonlight)
- First Layer- 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" (Bumblebee)
- Basic White- 5" x 3 3/4" and 5 1/4" x 4" (inside) and 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for flower
- Vellum- scrap for die cutting
