Resisting Gorgeous Leaves
The general idea of the emboss resist technique is that you emboss an image, then add water-based ink to the paper to add color around the embossing. There are a number of ways to use the emboss resist technique, such as incorporating watercolor techniques. For my card, I went with basic embossing and applying ink with a sponge or dauber.
After embossing, I added Cinnamon Cider ink to the cardstock with a of Stampin' Blender Brush. After I was done, I wiped the ink off of the embossing with a paper towel.

- Cinnamon Cider base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" fold in half
- Early Espresso: 4" x 5-1/4"
- Basic White: 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"

Peaceful Cabins Aurora Borealis
This card was inspired by one of my daughter's shows she watches on PBS that is about Alaska. they were showing the Aurora Borealis and it make me thing of the Peaceful Cabin and our Rainbow Gimmer Paper. Then coincidentally Barb Mullikin showed a card using this same product so I decided to combine the two for my card. Does this card make you think of those beautiful Northern Lights?!? Dimensions:
- Basic Black base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" fold in half, scraps
- Rainbow Glitter Paper: 4" x 5-1/4" cut out the center with 3/4" border, use the center cut out on scallop rectangle

It means working together towards a common goal, helping each other through life’s challenges, and celebrating one another’s accomplishments. It means including others, even when we disagree, have contrasting life experiences, or simply see things differently. Caring about people first is our greatest strength!
