Snowflake Shaker

Are you ready to get in the Christmas spirit? I think today’s snowflake shaker card will help you get there. The silver shimmer from the snowflakes in the Peaceful Place DSP gave this card a cool, wintry look of falling snow.

Stampin’ Up! thought of it all by adding the large die that will cut out your shaker window. To add even more interest and dimension to my snowflake shaker, I’ve added in some of the Subtle Shimmer Sequins which match perfect with the monochromatic look. I added the pop of Balmy Blue to just give a little more wintery feel.

Balmy Blue Card Base – 8-1/2″x 5-1/2" fold in half
Basic White CS – two @ 4″ x 5-1/4″. Cut the large snowflake image in one of the mats with the large die from the So Many Snowflakes Dies. Once cut, emboss with the Wintery 3D embossing folder.
Peaceful Place DSP – 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8"
Silver Foil Sheet - Scraps for die cutting snowflakes
Snowflake Shaker Window – Window Sheet – 3-3/4″ x 5″
Blue Adhesive-Backed Gems – 1 large and 2 small
Subtle Shimmer Sequins – about 1 teaspoon

Eden's Garden Poinsettia

I cannot tell you how much I love this DSP! Evening Evergreen paired with Soft Succulent with gold foil accents is just dang beautiful!! I have been using so much Evening Evergreen, it's kinda scary I'm not even really touching pink! I know WOW!!

This card layout is so easy to recreate and is perfect for using up your beloved DSP with trying different color of Poinsettia.

Soft Succulent In Color Shimmer Vellum- Scrap for die cutting leaves
Cherry Cobbler CS- Scraps for die cutting sprigs and stamin

Ever Eden Specialty DSP- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8"
Ever Eden Specialty DSP- 3-7/8" x 1-1/2" piece for the bottom.
Basic White- scraps for stamping poinsettias and die cutting

Snowman Gift Card Holder

Are you looking for a cute way to give those gift cards? Well this is the perfect card for you. I am using the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season stamp set and matching Snowman Builder Punch, but this fun fold pocket card is perfect with any stamps and papers, so really, it’s more about the fun fold that the actual project today.

Old Olive Card Base - 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ score @ 2 1/2″ and 6 1/2″ and then fold the bottom up and the top down
Sweet Stocking DSP - Scrap for circle die, the piece on the top outside is 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ & the piece on the bottom outside is 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, and 2-1/4" x 6" for envelop
Basic White - Gift Card or insert card is 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ and scraps for snowman
Bumblebee - Scrap for scallop circle die
Cherry Cobbler- Belly band 1" x 11"
Pumpkin Pie - Scrap for snowman nose
