STAMPIN' UP! Relax


This is a new stamp that's coming in January called IN THE MOMENT (157987) it has three wonderful big stamps featuring a lady taking time to relax, the sentiments in this set are perfect for a retirement or Mother's Day or just to tell someone to take some time to relax. The background has been ran through the new upcoming Gingham Embossing Folder (157627) you will find the rest of the supplies listed below.

Dimensions:  

  •  Misty Moonlight CS: 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”, 2-1/4” x 1-1/2”, 3” x 3”
  •  Basic White CS: 3” x 5-1/2”, 3”’ x 3”, 2-1/8” x 1-3/8”, two 1/2” x 5-1/2”

 


Instructions:

  1.  Burnish the folded edge of the Misty Moonlight card base with the Bone Folder.
  2.  Emboss the large piece of white with the Gingham Embossing Folder and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
  3. Gently rub the Misty Moonlight ink pad over this embossed piece - only the raised portions should catch the ink.  Tip: a Stampin’ Spot is easier to use for this technique.
  4. Adhere the two strips of white to the back of this piece on either side so that just a tiny portion shows, approximately 1/8”.
  5. Stamp the image of the woman looking out the window in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the white square.  Color with Stampin’ Blends as shown. Using Paper Snips, fussy cut this image.
  6. Using the second largest of the Circle Dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, cut a circle from the Misty Moonlight square.  Adhere the cut out image to this circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  7. On the small white rectangle, stamp the sentiment.  Adhere the Misty Moonlight layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  8.  Assemble the card front starting with the embossed layer and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The circle piece and sentiment are added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the final touch is the addition of two Square Gems to the sentiment.
  9.  Enjoy!
