Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin August Alternatives - Time For Cake

Before I share my alternatives, here's a look at the finished projects (as intended) from the August 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit:

Alternative Projects I Created

This month I created 3 cards, and a 12" x 12" scrapbook layout. This kit really makes it easy to create multiple projects. I love the color combo and the glimmer of the Rose Gold in this months kit.

After looking at the first card I made during my video I decided to change up the focal circle by using the "Happy Birthday" curved sentiment in Pretty In Pink around the outer edge of my circle. I then used a small Blanding Brush to distress the edges with Pecan Pie ink. I stamped the larger sentiment in the center using Night Of Navy. Which one do you like better?

12" x 12" Scrapbook Layout

So for this layout I fussy cut the slice of cake from the card base and placed as my focal point. I then decided to add the balloons and a banner. To add so glimmer I added the Rose Gold trim that was left over from my cards. My photos will be cut at 2-1/2" squares and placed on the three Pecan Pie mats.
