Welcome to my 12 Days Of Christmas Crafting!! I will be sharing some fabulous projects over the next 12 days. Check back daily to see what's new. I'm also using this time to open each of my 12 Days Of Crafting Advent Calendar from Stampin' Up! this year.
Day 8 A six-pointed, three-dimensional paper snowflake, crafted entirely from six individual 6" x 6" squares, transforms simple geometry into an elegant piece of dimensional art. Each square is meticulously folded and cut to form a pointed, channeled segment, creating delicate paper lace that tapers gracefully toward the center. When all six identical segments are connected, they expand outward to form a star-like structure that is surprisingly robust despite its delicate appearance. The finished snowflake commands attention not just with its symmetrical beauty, but with the fascinating interplay of light and shadow caught within its intricate, spiraling facets and hollow core.
