In Bloom Slimline Card

Isn't this card cute?😊 I love the Slimline Card Fold. Look at that DSP on this card, its one of those Awesome Items you can only get from Sale-A-Brations. Our Team over on FB has a monthly Card Challenge, Slimline Cards are the challenge of this month. So this is the card I made since I'm in charge of the challenge design. Its so much fun seeing all the different creativity people come up with. Its very inspiring for folks who are still intimidated to post cards they have made, these challenges help push them to get those creative juices flowing.

Here is the cards recipe:
 Cardbase: Basic Black 8 1/2" x 7" scored at 3 1/2"
 First Layer : Flirty Flamingo 3 1/4" x 8 1/4", and strip 1" x 8" (embossed with wrapped in texture)
Second Layer : Flower and Field DSP 3 x 8
 Inside Layer: Basic White 3 1/4" x 8 1/4
Extras: scarps of basic black and basic white this is for the sentiment
scraps of Gold Foil for the die cut bow

Recipe Directions:
Take you basic black Cardbase and score on the 7" side at 3 1/2"
Add the First Layer to the front of the cardbase
Run the 1' Flirty Flamingo strip though the embossing folder making sure to turn the paper in the folder so the 2 ends get embossed and the stripe is in the middle (this will get hidden with the sentiment)
Glue the 1" strip to the DSP, this is when you will add the Forever Greenery Gold twine around the 1' strip (I tape the backs down with scotch tape)
Grab the sentiment die from the Blooms set and die cut a Basic Black and a Basic White,
Cut the Basic Black sentiment lengthwise in half, now take Memento Black and Stamp you sentiment. Evenly glue both the Black pieces to the back of the White (make sure to watch the margins to make it straight)
Get the Bow die and die cut this from the Gold Foil Add the bow with a dot of glue or (adhesive glue dot), add dimensionals to the sentiment and add over the middle of the embossed strip covering the seam
Stamp a saying on the Inside Layer (do not add to the card until you have stamped, this gives you 2 tries incase the first try doesn't turn out) now add to the inside of card.
