USING UP THAT DSP Funday Monday FB Live #38

 Well very exciting news today... EEK!! Our New 2021-2022 Annual Catalog went live!! Please contact me if you need a hard copy. For now though here is a digital copy.

So with the new catalog that means some new beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP). So let me show you a way to use up some of that retired DSP so you don't have to feel guilty about buying new.

 

I love how simple and easy just a slight fold of the DSP can show off both sides of this gorgeous paper. 

 Card Recipe:

• Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half 4-1/4" turn Landscape style
• DSP: 4" x 5-1/4" score from one bottom corner up to the 1-1/2" on short side, fold up onto itself
• Gold Foil: strip for border die
• Stamp Sentiment of you choice and embellish

The second card is very similar to the first card we are just going to put the fold on the short side and make a portrait style card.

Card Recipe:

• Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half 4 1/4" turn portrait style
• DSP: 4" x 5-1/4" place bottom corner on cutting track, move the long side to the 2" mark and score, fold up on itself
• Stamp with Sentiment of you choice and embellish

The third card is called the Collar Fold, we are still showing off both sides of the DSP, but here you have choices of the orientation of how you want this card. Just a flip of the card and you have a card that looks like a shirt and collar.

 

Card Recipe:
 

• Card Base: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half 4-1/4"
• DSP: 4" x 5-1/4"  place long side on trimmer and cut @ 2-5/8" cut in to the  1-1/2"mark, and 1/2" for inside
• Gold Foil: 2" x 5-1/4" emboss
• Add a Punch image or a Sentiment Label in the middle of fold (I used both Daisy Punch)
